We currently operate in the States of Illinois, New York, Massachusetts, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Colorado and Michigan as a medical and/or adult use cannabis provider to patients and customers. Purpose


The Data Technician position is responsible for a variety of duties on the Analytics Team for Cultivation data capture using various systems. The focus of the Data Technician is to properly enter data for production and processing information in Biotrack, Dynamics NAV and our internal systems. In addition, the Data Technician is responsible for verifying the accuracy of data entered by other departments and will be assigned various reporting duties as needed. This position requires a high attention to detail and an intermediate working knowledge of Google Sheets and Excel. The position provides regular and timely communication with Analytics, Production, and Processing management as well as team members within those departments. The Data Technician is expected to operate under the highest standards of compliance and professionalism.


Pay for this position starts at $21.75/hour


Essential Duties


Data Entry and Systems



  • Create and adjust plants in Dynamics NAV / Biotrack for cultivation processes.

  • Create and adjust inventory in Dynamics NAV for production and processing purposes.

  • Enter and edit data in internal Google Sheets and Excel Reports.

  • Biotrack searches and product verification.

  • Enter recorded cannabis waste in Biotrack/Dynamics NAV/Tracking Sheets.

  • Digitally move the plants based on garden audits in Biotrack/Dynamics NAV.

  • Daily entry of the previous day’s harvest into Biotrack/Dynamics NAV.

  • Daily entry of the previous day’s production inventory

  • Label setup and printing for finished goods production out of NAV and Bartender.


Auditing



  • Perform physical and digital audits of products in Dynamics NAV to compare against physical counts and data within Biotrack.

  • Verify testing data for packages.

  • Verify and report plant audits.


Reporting



  • Run reports in Biotrack and Dynamics NAV in relation to plant counts, on hand inventory, distribution rates, and sales.

  • Search internal systems on a wide range of data including but not limited to: plants, packages, labor statistics, testing results, etc.

  • Accurately compile and scrub data to report on a wide range of activities in multiple departments as assigned.

  • Maintain & update internal documents used by the team.


Compliance



  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations

  • Ensure that workflow and work procedures are documented and that appropriate controls and audits are in place to ensure data and processing integrity.


Other Duties 



  • Coverage in other areas of Analytics.

  • Occasional coverage/assistance for data entry in other departments.

  • Creation of Biotrack manifests and Dynamics NAV transfers as needed.

  • Assist the garden in any digital processes that they may be behind on. This will include looking for potentially missing plants & assisting the team in auditing.

  • Other duties as assigned by the manager or supervisor of the department.


Supervision



  • Works under the direct supervision of the Cultivation Analytics Supervisor, also takes direction from the Analytics Manager(s).

  • This person does not supervise others.


 


Job Qualifications


Work Experience



  • One to three years of data entry experience required.

  • Intermediate working knowledge of Google Sheets and/or Excel required.

  • Prior experience working in METRC preferred.

  • Prior experience working within CounterPoint or similar inventory tracking systems preferred.

  • Data analysis experience preferred. 

  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.

  • Knowledge of inventory management and adherence to FIFO preferred.

  • Knowledge of state and federal employment laws relating to key areas of responsibility. 

  • Must be able to secure appropriate work credentials from the Colorado Department of Labor Marijuana Enforcement Division


Education



  • High School diploma or equivalent required.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. 


Working Conditions 



  • Able to use a computer for extended periods of time.

  • Able to move about a typical office, manufacturing, warehouse, or retail environment

  • Able to perform general office managerial and administrative activities.

  • Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally.

  • Regular and on-time attendance.

  • Hours regularly exceed 40 hours per week.
